Great experience
We had a great stay at the Strathmore Hotel. The staff were courteous and prompt with assisting us with requests. The room was clean and tidy, not very big but enough for resting after a long day out. Fresh towels, a bottle of water, and tea were provided daily. The location in Kensington is a convenient walk away from the Gloucester Road tube station and to attractions, shopping, and museums. I would recommend the Strathmore Hotel to anyone staying in London, and would definitely consider staying there again if I return.

Staff are excellent
We only stayed for two nights but would definitely stay again. The location was great: near plenty of places to eat and drink. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly.

Just perfect
I was looking for a hotel for a London stay with my family and I am so glad I came across the Gem Strathmore. The location being so close to Gloucester Road underground gave perfect access to the rest of London. The hotel was just a very short walk to the London museums which made my choice even more of a positive one. Our room was good, spacious enough for myself, my wife and two children. A double and two twins. Bathroom was clean. Only moan is no air conditioning, which normally in the UK isn’t an issue but the room on this occasion was warm and having an open window in the centre of London isn’t the quietest. It wasn’t a major issue though, after a long day sight seeing we were all so tired we slept through. Staff at the hotel were so very polite and helpful. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel before check in so we could make the most of our day and similarly the next day after check out so we didn’t have to cart around our luggage all day. Staff dealt with any queries we had quickly and efficiently. Asked for extra water for the room and it was sorted so quickly without question. We didn’t use the restaurant on this stay but it looked very inviting . So did the bar. I would highly recommend the Gem Strathmore.
