Lovely old world charm.
Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was great size for 4 of us. Excellent location for exploring London. Tube station just a short walk around the corner. Didn’t eat there so can’t rate the food . breakfast was expensive so we didn’t have it

I didn't want to leave!
I really enjoyed my two night stay at the hotel. The room was gorgeous, comfy bed, high ceilings, tasty tea and coffee, nice view, good temperature. I almost did not want my stay to end! I had dinner in the restaurant one night which was delicious. If I am staying in the Kensington area again I would definitely like to stay again and will certainly recommend. The staff were also all lovely. Thank you.

Mostly very good
Convenient location, clean and tidy hotel. The room (002) was nice save for two things. The window near the bed was an old sash window which was draughty and it was a cold January night. The other thing was the hardest mattress I’ve ever encountered. Certainly clean and tidy but rock hard. Shame because the room itself was very nice. An easy fix: a new window would pay for itself in lower heating bills in a year. Breakfast was very good.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. It was sufficient for a short city trip. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and one employees even spoke German, which was obviously very helpful. Many of the sights were in walking distance from the hotel.

Great stay in Kensington
Great stay for night out in London, lovely scones for afternoon tea and the full English breakfast along with the continental options was great. Very powerful shower, lovely! Good value overall.

A perfect location!
A perfect location to stay if visiting the Albert Hall or exploring Kensington. Set amongst wonderful cafes, restaurants & pubs . Friendly staff & a lovely room. Definitely recommend.
