One of the most hospitable hotels I've stayed in
From beginning , when booking, to when e left, the staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful and kind. I stayed with my 3 sisters, who all raved about this hotel and praised me for finding it. We did not know what to expect as it was a Secret Escapes deal and we had not stayed in Gem hotels before. Everything about our stay convinced us that we would most definitely return here rather than book anywhere else for future stays. The breakfast was superb - the full range, cooked and continental, prepared beautifully. All staff we came across were polite, friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to keep our bags at the hotel until we were ready to leave the area in the evening. That was so appreciated. The location of the hotel is excellent, lots of bars, cafe's and restaurants just outside and round the corner and Oxford street less than 10 minutes walk away. This is a relatively small hotel which I personally much prefer. Although the rooms were a little small there was nothing lacking and plenty of space to move around. One of the bonus features was blackout blinds and curtains on the windows which meant that we were not woken up by the early morning light like we usually are in other hotels. This is indeed a gem of a hotel in central London, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody, no matter how fussy they are.

Lovely Hotel
The Location of this hotel is fantastic. With great staff on hand if needed. We had no problems at all so we only saw them at check in and check out. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I will be staying again.

Excellent location and fab staff
There are 3 things I really liked about the hotel, the location, the staff and the bed . It is perfectly located within walking distance of Oxford street , Soho etc. All the staff are really very friendly and polite . Nothing is too much for them. The beds are very firm so I actually got a really good night sleep. I stayed twice and the one thing that I feel let’s the hotel down is the bathroom. They are very outdated and have been patched up many times. The shower in my room took almost 10 minutes to warm up and when it finally worked half for the shower head was actually working. The room ( I stayed twice ) was a bit on the small side but that didn’t bother us at all. They were clean and had everything we needed. We had breakfast, it was actually very good and the service was excellent . All in all I like the hotel and I would go back . The bathroom is the only negative I think needs addressing.

Lovely hotel
A lovely hotel good location to explore London and to go to the theatre, plenty of restaurants near by. Clean rooms although a little small. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the beds are far too hard for my liking so didn't sleep very well. Other than that a nice place to stay in London

Perfect location, great hotel!
We loved our stay. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. When our booking couldn’t be found we were offered a complimentary drink. Hotel is perfectly situated in London. Although room was small, it had everything you needed. We would recommend to others and stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

Birthday treat
I Had a great stay with my husband and my daughter for her belated birthday treat, it was a triple room which was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for the complimentary carrot cake wishing my daughter happy birthday she loved it. Thank you very much.
