Comfortable minibreak stay
A nice comfortable hotel, with plenty of character idea for a city break. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to all amenities. Friendly efficient staff. Needs a better lift.

Wonderful stay
This was a short break to celebrate my wife's 67th birthday and we thorughly enjoyed staying at the Strathmore Hotel.On arrival we discovered that our room had been decorated with balloons and chocolate cake was delivered soon after we had settled in, which was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and the food was delicious and plentiful at breakfast. The cream tea was also excellent. We wouldn't hesitiate to recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Overnight stay for work meeting
I had a lovely stay at The Strathmore Hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the room was very clean and well maintained. I was staying alone and felt extremely safe in the area and especially in the hotel. Would definitely stay again as it was also the perfection location for the Tube into St James' Park.
