Charming Hotel in great location
Charming small hotel just 3 minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station and the Natural History Museum, V&A Musrum and Science Museum, also Knightsbridge and Harrods an easy 20 minute walk. We booked an executive room with secret escapes for 1 night on a Saturday in July for just over £200, this included full English breakfast and a really nice Cornish cream tea for two. this was excellent value. All the staff were very welcoming and polite, we had room 315, it was a really great size room with a very comfortable king bed, the bathroom was also a really good size and had a bath with shower over it, the only negative about the room was there is no air con, but there was a fan and you could open the large window. The only negative about the hotel is that there is just one small lift and you could wait a long time, upto 10 minutes, to get down to the ground floor, you could walk down the stairs but this would be challenging with luggage. All in all we had a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Strathmore Hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was offered a refreshing welcome drink, which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I also appreciated the thoughtful details – from the high-quality toiletries to the complimentary bottled water, tea, and coffee station. The view from the room was stunning and added to the overall comfort of the stay. The hotel facilities were excellent. The lounge area was elegant and peaceful, perfect for relaxing with a book or having a quiet coffee. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant – the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The buffet offered a great variety of both hot and cold options, including fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and traditional English breakfast items. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was impeccable. The location of Strathmore Hotel is ideal – situated in a quiet and charming area, yet just a short walk away from key attractions, public transport, and lovely restaurants and shops. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every member of the team was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. I highly recommend Strathmore Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious stay. I will absolutely be returning on my next visit. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Brief stay
We had a very enjoyable, but brief, stay. A lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Very attentive staff who accommodated our wishes. We would love to return.
